OUR VISION Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley believes that no one should go hungry and is dedicated to building a community that makes food accessible to all people. School pantries do more than provide food—they help reduce stress for parents, support children’s health and well-being, and ensure students are better prepared to learn and succeed when they return to the classroom. “Summer should be a time for children to enjoy being kids, not a time for families to worry about where their next meal will come from,” said Renee Fuller. “We are grateful for the support of our donors, volunteers, and partners who help make these programs possible.” As the need continues to grow, community support remains essential. Every dollar donated helps Second Harvest provide food to local families and strengthen programs like school pantries. In fact, every $1 donated can help provide up to five meals for someone facing hunger. The notes from Sebring students serve as a powerful reminder that a pantry is more than shelves stocked with food, it is a source of hope, stability, and support for children and families throughout our community. Together, we can help ensure that children across the Mahoning Valley have access to the nutritious food they need this summer and all year long. THANK YOU TO OUR 160 PARTNER AGENCIES ACROSS COLUMBIANA, MAHONING, AND TRUMBULL COUNTIES!
